  Product Overview  

The Xin'anjiang ZJC/ZJP series Roots vacuum pump is a positive displacement vacuum pump. It utilizes a pair of figure-eight rotors rotating in opposite directions at a constant speed within the pump casing, maintaining a certain gap, to generate suction and exhaust.

The biggest advantage of the ZJC/ZJP Roots vacuum pump is its high pumping speed at relatively low inlet pressures. However, it cannot be used alone; a backing vacuum pump must be connected in series. The Roots vacuum pump can only begin operation after the pressure in the system being evacuated has been reduced to the allowable pressure of the Roots vacuum pump by the backing pump. Furthermore, under normal circumstances, the Roots vacuum pump should not operate under high pressure differentials, otherwise it will overload and overheat, resulting in damage. Therefore, it is crucial to select an appropriate backing pump and install necessary protective equipment when using a Roots vacuum pump. It is particularly important to note that when the Roots pump has undergone anti-corrosion treatment, its backing pump can be a water jet vacuum pump or a corrosion-resistant water ring vacuum pump, capable of pumping corrosive gases containing large amounts of water vapor.

      Equipment Features  

        1. The intake gas first enters a graphite shell-and-tube condenser, where the pumped medium is condensed, thereby reducing the pumping load on the water-jet vacuum pump;

        2. The circulating fluid of the water-jet vacuum pump is cooled by a graphite coil, allowing the pump to operate at an optimal temperature and ensuring peak performance;

        3. This eco-friendly water-jet vacuum unit significantly reduces the need for make-up water in the circulation tank, effectively eliminating wastewater discharge;

        4. After the gaseous medium passes through a mist eliminator, the liquid returns to the circulation storage tank, while the gas proceeds to the treatment system;

        5. In this eco-friendly unit, both the condensing tubes and cooling coils are made of graphite-modified polypropylene, and the centrifugal pump features an all-plastic polypropylene structure, offering excellent corrosion resistance.
