The "Xin'anjiang" brand Roots-screw vacuum unit is an integrated vacuum system that utilizes a Roots vacuum pump (also known as a mechanical booster pump) as the main pump and a screw pump as the backing pump. Its operation is automatically controlled via components such as a PLC, touchscreen, vacuum gauge, pressure transmitter, and electric contact pressure gauge. The PLC system manages the automatic operation of the screw pump's purge systems, the automatic starting and stopping of the Roots vacuum pump, and the monitoring and protection of current and temperature, ensuring the safe, reliable, and automated operation of the entire unit.
This vacuum unit is characterized by an ultra-high vacuum level, rapid pumping speed, long service life, high safety standards, and excellent energy efficiency. The flow-path components of the Roots vacuum pump feature a diffused Hastelloy coating, while the backing screw pump is constructed from cast iron; this configuration enables the system to achieve an ultra-high vacuum of less than 0.1 Pa with minimal reduction in pumping speed at high vacuum levels.
The unit is widely used across industries such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and food processing for applications including vacuum conveying, refining, distillation, concentration, vacuum packaging, drying, gas analysis, and exhaust gas recovery.
