Advanced anti-corrosion coating  

Xin'anjiang SVPB series screw vacuum pumps typically employ an advanced Hastelloy-coated anti-corrosion coating, exhibiting excellent corrosion resistance. Hastelloy C-276 alloy is a tungsten-containing nickel, chromium, and molybdenum alloy with extremely low silicon and carbon content, considered a universal corrosion-resistant alloy. It is primarily resistant to wet chlorine, various oxidizing chlorides, chloride salt solutions, sulfuric acid, and oxidizing salts, and demonstrates excellent corrosion resistance in both low and medium temperature hydrochloric acid. Therefore, for the past thirty years, it has been widely used in harsh corrosive environments, such as in chemical, petroleum, flue gas desulfurization, pulp and paper, and environmental protection industries.

This alloy possesses the following characteristics:
① Excellent corrosion resistance to most corrosive media in both oxidizing and reducing atmospheres;
② Outstanding resistance to pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. The high Mo and Cr content enables the alloy to resist chloride ion corrosion, while W further enhances its corrosion resistance. Furthermore, Hastelloy C-276 alloy is one of the few materials resistant to corrosion from moist chlorine gas, hypochlorites, and chlorine dioxide solutions, and exhibits significant resistance to high-concentration chloride solutions such as ferric chloride and copper chloride. It is suitable for sulfuric acid solutions of various concentrations and is one of the few materials applicable to hot concentrated sulfuric acid solutions.
